FAQs

What does FinAgra actually do?

FinAgra brings capital, technology, and structured farm management into rural communities —turning underperforming farmland into productive, high-yield operations led by local entrepreneurs.

Who are the REPs?

REPs (Rural Entrepreneur Partners) are trusted local leaders we incubate and support. They manage modern farms at scale using FinAgra’s tools, technology, and operational guidance

What happens to the farmers and landowners?

Farmers and landowners keep full ownership and control of their land.

FinAgra guarantees at least the same income they earn today — usually higher — while

improving soil health, productivity, and long-term value.

Why would a farmer lease their land?

Because FinAgra provides what most farms currently lack:

● modern equipment

● high-quality seeds and inputs

● reliable markets

● stable, predictable income

● improved long-term soil productivity

Farmers reduce their risk while increasing their returns.

How does FinAgra choose where to operate?

We focus on regions where agriculture is the main livelihood but still limited by small plots, low productivity, and lack of capital. Our goal is to ensure the entire community benefits — not just a single large farmer.

Do REPs need farming experience?

Not always. Some are local farmers ready to scale; others are educated young people returning to their communities with new skills. FinAgra provides full training, agronomy support, and technology.

Does FinAgra give cash to REPs?

No. We provide the inputs needed to operate at scale: land access, seeds, fertilizers, irrigation, machinery, technology, and agronomy support — not cash transfers.

Who benefits from FinAgra’s model?

● Local farmers and landowners

● REPs leading the new farms

● Rural communities through reinvested profit

● Buyers who receive stable, traceable supply

● Governments supporting rural development

Can someone apply to become a REP?

Yes. Candidates can express interest through the contact page.

We look for ambition, integrity, community understanding, and readiness to lead — not just farming experience.
